I purchased a 2017 GMC Terrain Denali (V6) with just over 19,000 miles in Oct 2019; so far I like it and it has been a great deal. I would not even consider the 4 cylinder.
I never buy brand new and I search for a few months before buying.
I sometimes rent (on vacation) what I may purchase to make sure I like it.
